ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Philippine National Police (PNP) promoted five senior officers under the Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO-9), an official said Monday.
Three of the five officers promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel are organic personnel of PRO-9 while the remaining two belong to the national support units of the PNP, said Maj. Shellamie Chang, PRO-9 information officer.
Chang said the three PRO-9 promoted officers are Lt. Col. Annalie Francisco, Lt. Col. Raymond Sanson, and Lt. Col. Hingming Ladjaali.
Francisco, Sanson, and Ladjaali are chiefs of the City Police Strategy Management Unit, City Traffic Enforcement Unit, and City Administrative Resource Management Unit, respectively, of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO).
Chang said the two other promoted officers are Lt. Col. Eugene Raymundo of the PNP Training Institute, and Lt. Col. Abdulmutalib Tagayan of the PNP Forensic Group.
Brig. Gen. Franco Simborio, PRO-9 director, administered the oath and led the donning of ranks ceremony of the five promoted officers Monday at Camp Col. Romeo Abendan, the PRO-9 headquarters in Barangay Mercedes here.
Simborio encouraged the officers to perform better in their respective assigned tasks.
Col. Alexander Lorenzo, ZCPO director, said the promotion of the three officers is worthy of emulation by the other officers of the ZCPO. (PNA)
