MANILA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) continues to see a decline in its active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases, as 444 more personnel recovered from the disease as of Tuesday.
In its latest Covid-19 bulletin, the PNP Health Service said this brought down the active case tally to 2,730, despite logging 158 new infections.
Tuesday's active cases are lower than Monday's tally at 3,016.
The new recoveries raised the total count to 44,609 out of a total of 47,465 confirmed cases since the pandemic started in 2020.
The police force's death toll stands at 126.
Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated PNP personnel were placed at 217,616 or equivalent to 96.62 percent while those who got one dose are now at 6,615 or 2.94 percent.
Some 74,349 personnel or 34.17 percent have already received booster shots.
Around 1,008 personnel or 0.44 percent remain unvaccinated. (PNA)
