Tarlac holds night vaccination anew for workers


TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – The provincial government of Tarlac has resumed the conduct of nighttime vaccination to accommodate still unvaccinated workers who cannot go to inoculation sites during the day due to their work.

The “Resbakunight” is being conducted at the Maria Cristina Park in front of the provincial capitol here on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for first, second and booster shots against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

“Muli nating ibinabalik ang Resbakunight upang bigyan daan ang ating mga kababayang hirap makapagpabakuna tuwing working hours (We are bringing back the Resbakunight to give way for our provincemates who have difficulty in getting inoculated due to working hours),” the provincial government stated in a social media post on Friday.

The first “Resbakunight” was conducted by the provincial government in December last year.

As of Friday, the total number of vaccines administered in the province of Tarlac is 1,012,043, with 926,921 residents already fully vaccinated.

On the other hand, some 85,122 people have received only the first dose of the vaccine.

To date, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province is 23,115, with 334 active infections.

The recovery tally is 21,969 while the total number of deaths is 852. (PNA)
