The Court of Appeals is collegiate appellate court in the Philippines. There is one Presiding Justice and 68 Associate Justices in total. Additionally, the Constitution mandates that the Court of Appeals "reviews not only the decisions and orders of Regional Trial Courts throughout the country, but also those of the Court of Tax Appeals, as well as awards, judgments, final orders, or resolutions of, or authorized by, twenty-one quasi-judicial agencies exercising quasi-judicial functions as defined in Rule 43 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
